Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a CAD Engineer.
Job Title: CAD Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Job Location: Pleasanton, CA
Work Schedule: Onsite
Pay Rate: $30, Based on experience
Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to support a high-priority initiative focused on improving and updating a large volume of existing engineering drawings. This role is not focused on new product design but on high-volume revision and improvement work based on manufacturing feedback.
Responsibilities
- Review and update existing Solid Works drawings based on manufacturing and production feedback
- Modify dimensions, tolerances, annotations, and BOMs
- Ensure consistency between 3D models and 2D drawings
- Execute high-volume drawing revisions efficiently
- Manage revisions using PDM (Solid Works PDM / EPDM)
- KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
- 6 - 10 drawing revisions per day per engineer (depending on complexity)
