Role Summary
Anesthesia Technician – Part Time – 12's. Evening 12 Hour shift, located at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley. Working under the direction of the Operating Room Charge Nurse, assisting the Anesthesiologist with patient care during procedures and managing anesthesia supplies and equipment.

What You Will Do- At the start of shift, review the daily maintenance of anesthesia supplies and equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Support Anesthesiologists when requested in Cath Lab, Labor & Delivery, and ER, ensuring supplies and equipment are available and in working order.
- Evening Tech will support evening crew, restock anesthesia carts and prepare OR suites for the next day.
- Set up, clean, and turnover anesthesia machines and carts for each procedure, and maintain related recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with Materials Manager and medical supply to guarantee ordering of all anesthesia supplies and equipment.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the C‑I‑CARE Standards of the Hospital.
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Less than 6 months operating room experience (Required)
- Anesthesia Technician certification (Preferred)

- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Basic knowledge of surgical settings/environment.
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (Required)

CompensationBase Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $35.02 - $45.32 per hour.
