Credentialing Coordinator

Part‑Time Credentialing & HIPAA Coordinator (Pleasanton, SC)

$25.00/hr – $27.00/hr (pay range provided by Insight Global).

• Manage credentialing and re‑credentialing files for licensed and contracted providers, submitting applications to insurance payers and county systems.
• Monitor expiring licenses, certifications, and background checks.
• Maintain CAQH profiles and internal credentialing databases.
• Track and report credentialing status to internal teams.
• Support HIPAA compliance efforts including training logs, audits, and privacy incident tracking.
• Ensure Business Associate Agreements and confidentiality forms are up to date.
• Act as liaison between providers, payers, and internal departments.

• 2–3 years of experience in healthcare credentialing or compliance.
• Familiarity with CAQH, Medi‑Cal/Medicare, and commercial insurance enrollment.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credentialing databases.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and accuracy.
• Must be comfortable working onsite in Pleasanton, SC, 25 hours/week, Mon‑Fri, 10‑3.
