Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer role at Noetic Information Systems LLC.

• Anchor different phases of IT engagement including business process consulting, problem definition, discovery, solution generation, design development, deployment and validation.
• Lead supply chain management projects for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12, 11i through complete implementation life-cycle including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, build, test, go-live & post-production support for modules such as Manufacturing (BOM, WIP, OSFM), Order Management, Shipping, Purchasing, Inventory.
• Build applications using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and PL/SQL package/procedure-based programming for data conversions and interface development around Oracle EBS modules.
• Develop platforms, frameworks, interfaces & microservices using Web objects technologies like Django and Python.
• Build database models, APIs & views utilizing Python and Oracle PLSQL to create interactive web-based solutions and develop computation algorithms for forecasting & allocation using Python and Gurobi.
• Design, build and launch efficient data pipelines to move and transform data between different applications (handling both large and small data volumes).

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science with 5 years’ experience in a role with similar duties and skills.
• Experience with OAF, Oracle EBS modules, Django and Python, Oracle PLSQL, and Gurobi Model.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate to work in unanticipated locations throughout the US. No telecommuting.
