Enterprise Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a Contract with a client in Pleasanton, CA. Candidate must have deep expertise in enterprise-level solution design and cloud platforms to lead complex, scalable, and secure architectures.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executives and business leaders to define the long‑term architectural vision and technology roadmaps aligned to strategic goals.

• Lead the design of complex, enterprise-scale solutions—producing architectural blueprints, system designs, and technical specifications that ensure scalability, security, and resilience.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions and communicating clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Provide hands‑on guidance and governance, conducting design reviews, mentoring architects/developers, and enforcing best practices and architectural standards.

• Identify and manage technical risks across the lifecycle, implementing mitigation strategies and ensuring transparent risk communication to stakeholders.

• Drive cloud and modern delivery practices, leveraging TOGAF (or equivalent), AWS/Azure/GCP, microservices, Dev Ops, Agile/Waterfall, and data/analytics to enable innovation and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture and solution design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or advisory role.

• Deep expertise in architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proven experience in designing scalable, secure enterprise solutions and leading teams through Agile and Dev Ops practices.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
