Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Pleasanton, CA. Candidates must have deep expertise in Dell SRM ViPR infrastructure monitoring and reporting across multi-site deployments. Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and maintain Dell SRM ViPR Storage Infrastructure Monitoring and Reporting solutions across multi-site deployments with centralized reporting. Configure SRM servers, schedule collectors and reports, and manage software upgrades, patches, and performance tuning. Collect and analyze metrics from multi-vendor storage environments (e.g., Dell EMC, Net App, IBM SAN) and ensure compliance with KP standards and security policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized reports via SFTP, email, and other mechanisms, and troubleshoot anomalies in data and reporting.
Manage customer requirements, support issue resolution with Dell SRM, and ensure accurate reporting on storage configurations, performance, and capacity planning.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring and storage systems. Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Dell SRM ViPR solutions in multi-site environments. Strong knowledge of multi-vendor storage technologies (e.g., EMC, Net App, IBM SAN) and experience in generating custom reports based on complex storage metrics.
