Job Description

Jarratt Law, P.C. is a family law firm focused on divorce mediation and family law litigation with locations in Pleasanton, CA, and Medford, OR.

We are a low-volume, high-touch family law firm. You can expect to work 30 to 35 hours a week (case needs controlling) and will be expected to bill 720 hours per year, network, and learn practice management. Please only apply if you are interested and able to manage both a caseload and a firm, as the long-term goal is to find an attorney who can manage the California practice.

The right candidate would be expected to start in mid to late January of 2026.

The Pleasanton office is staffed with another associate and a paralegal. The other associate's caseload consists primarily of custody matters. Your caseload will consist mainly of financial issues, including spousal and child support, tracing, Moore-Marsden, Nelson, Stallworth, and Watts and Epstein claims. You must be able to understand the math with and without the help of a forensic CPA.

• Strong understanding and proficiency in Family Law and related legal issues
• Comfortable with the emotional side of family law
• Experience in drafting motions and other legal documents
• Skilled in managing depositions and preparing clients for court proceedings
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
• California Bar License is required
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in family law practice is required
• Capable of being your own boss.

• Salary range: $115,000 to $130,000
