. This role is based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and actively drives territory sales for Bio‑Rad’s clinical diagnostic product line.
Role Overview:
The Account Manager collaborates closely with the sales team, communicates effectively, and ensures customer satisfaction through prompt issue resolution. This role involves identifying new client opportunities, managing competing priorities, and maintaining organized territory oversight.
- Drive Territory Success: Develop and execute a strategic Territory Sales Plan to meet and exceed sales goals across a diverse portfolio including quality controls, infectious disease, blood bank, immunology, and diabetes products.
- Grow Opportunities: Build, manage, and expand the sales funnel by identifying and nurturing new opportunities while effectively managing customer deadlines.
- Collaborate for Results: Partner proactively with Account Executives and the instrument sales team to align efforts and achieve territory objectives.
- Stay Informed and Communicative: Maintain daily updates in and regularly communicate with the regional manager about market trends, forecasts, and activities.
- Master the Portfolio: Continuously develop product knowledge and demonstrate technical expertise while working in harmony with cross‑functional teams to support customer needs and drive sales.
- Education: BA/BS degree in medical technology, life science or a technical related discipline, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 3‑6 years of relevant experience, preferably in clinical diagnostics sales and/or certified laboratory experience.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Multitasking: Ability to produce results while working with multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Skills:
Strong technical skills to demonstrate instruments and/or consumables for clinical diagnostic applications.

CompensationThe estimated base salary range is $84,300 to $116,000. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
