Account Management / Account Director

Responsibilities

• Create a strategic roadmap to drive growth within the account/portfolio and execute that plan to generate incremental revenue.

• Manage customer negotiations and pricing discussions.

• Engage with horizontal and solution teams to identify improvement or opportunity areas and sell cross‑business unit solutions.

• Expand HCL’s footprint by proposing creative solutions that solve business problems.

• Lead proposal creation and presentation.

• Own the opportunity management cycle:
Prospect – Evaluate – Propose – Close.

• Manage account operations including SOWs, billing, third‑party contracts, renewals, and high DSO with focus on revenue growth and margin improvement.

• Create and manage executive‑level relationships between the client and HCL executive teams.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience selling and leading complex transformation programs.

Proven track record of rapidly scaling revenues consistently and achieving year‑over‑year growth.

• Experience selling Digital, Application, IoT, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Cloud products and services.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities in a dynamic, changing environment.

• Track record of building relationships with C‑level client contacts.

• Experience in Retail and CPG lines of business.

• Knowledge of account financial management, lead generation and ensuring CSAT.
