Asa Fire Sprinkler Inspection &Testing Technician,you’llberesponsibleforperforminginspections,testing,anddocumentationoffiresprinklerandrelatedlifesafetysystemsacrossactiveclientsites.
Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:- ConductinspectionsandtestingoffiresprinklersystemsinaccordancewithNFPAstandards
- Performfirealarmsysteminspectionsasneeded
- Ensurecompliancewithlocalregulations
- Identifysystemdeficienciesandrecommendcorrectiveactions
- Documentinspectionresultsandpreparedetailed,accurate reports
- Coordinatewithclients,contractors,andinternalteamsregardingfindingsandfollow-ups
- Maintaininspectionschedulesandmanagemultipleservicelocations
- Assistwithminortroubleshootingandmaintenanceoffire/lifesafetysystems
- StaycurrentwithNFPAcodes,local requirements,andindustrybestpractices
- Required:
- California Sprinkler Fitter Certification
- 3–5yearsofexperienceinfiresprinklerand/orfiresysteminspections
- StrongknowledgeofNFPAcodesandinspectionprocedures
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandmanagemultipleassignments
- Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills
- Valid driver’slicenseandreliabletransportation
- Experiencewithfirealarminspectionsandintegratedlifesafetysystems
- NICETCertification(Inspection&Testingof Water-Based Systemsor Fire Alarm )
- Familiaritywithdigitalinspection/reporting tools
Thisisafield-basedpositionwithminimalofficetimeasneeded.
- Workperformedatclientsitesthroughout Northern California
- Travelbetweenjobsitesisrequired
- Occasionaleveningsorweekendsmaybeneededbasedoninspectionschedules
- Standing,walking,bending,andladderuse
