Responsibilities
  • Proper selection and combination of foundations, pumps, and related equipment for specific jobs.
  • Knowledge of tubing hook‑ups to spools and reels, hydraulic hook‑ups to reels and foundations.
  • Ability to identify and communicate problems with reels, equipment, and spools.
  • Operate and maintain all testing equipment associated with visual and dimensional inspection (Mic's).
  • Complete all report forms for quality assurance shipping and receiving as required.
  • Make minor repairs to equipment, hose fittings, counter rollers, etc.
  • Proper execution of all procedures that pertain to used tubing and waste fluid.
  • Proper execution of all tube cutting procedures and use of cutting torch equipment.
  • Qualified/trained for forklift ground guide, crane rigging, and qualified to operate forklift up to 70,000 lbs.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, utilize safe work habits.
  • Perform other work‑related tasks as assigned.
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mechanical problem‑solving ability and troubleshooting is a must.
  • Knowledge in blueprint reading and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators and various transfer gages).
  • Must be competent in the use of basic hand tools and other tools such as torque wrenches, impact guns, hydraulic torque machines, and air tools.
  • Must possess a basic understanding of hydraulic systems.
  • Must be able to safely drive/operate a forklift and must be able to safely operate a crane.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules on short notice.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
  • Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
