Product Demonstrator Part Time

Base Pay Range

$16.00/hr - $16.50/hr

The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Pay is $16.00–$16.50.

• Acquire adequate knowledge of represented products.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Properly set up and prepare event tables for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports per company policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.

This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week; however, the company maintains discretion to adjust hours based on business or client needs.

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
• Local food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical demands:
  Stand and walk throughout shift; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions and perform events; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds; push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances;
  
  contact cleaning supplies.

  English primary; bilingual skills may be required.
