Product Demonstrator Part Time

This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands by conducting product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, brand ambassador, or brand advocacy experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements while preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Working with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age (Alcohol and Production require 18+).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
• Ability to safely use appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, those with no experience, returning to the workforce, or with military experience. We provide comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training to help you get started quickly.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
