Silgan Containers is seeking a Plant Accountant / Cost Accountant to support the financial performance of our Plover manufacturing facility. This role offers hands‑on experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, inventory control, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month‑end close while partnering directly with plant leadership.

• Manage month-end close and financial reporting
• Support cost accounting and inventory control activities
• Analyze manufacturing costs and inventory variances
• Maintain standard costs and Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
• Partner with operations leaders to improve plant performance
• Participate in plant operations meetings and walkthroughs
