Day Shift

As a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography, you will prepare patients for mammograms, manage imaging studies, perform quality control duties, and assist in training other technologists.

• Prepare patients for mammograms by transporting them between waiting and exam rooms, ensuring proper identification, and explaining procedures.
• Obtain necessary clinical information from patients or charts and record it accurately.
• Set priorities and facilitate patient care efficiently.
• Perform quality control duties, including checking sensitometer strips and densitometer limits before imaging studies.
• Participate in unit activities such as division and staff meetings.
• Maintain professional and technological competencies, including CPR and TB testing.
• Assist in training and proctoring mammography technologists.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure: Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a licensed Radiographer in Indiana. Must hold an advanced certificate in mammography from the ARRT, or have completed a training course and be taking the ARRT advanced certificate within 60 days.

Experience: Minimum of one year as a Radiologic Technologist; one year of experience in mammography preferred.
