Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Operations Engineer

WhatYou’ll Do
Divert’s Assistant Technicians play a pivotal role in the food analysis and recovery process as they execute various prep, cleaning, light maintenance, and other activities. Under the direction of the Lead Technician, Assistant Technicians work in our Analytics, Modular, and RNG facilities.
Shifts Available- Days, 2/2/3, 6 am to 6:30 pm
- Nights, 2/2/3, 6 pm to 6:30 am
This position is safety-sensitive and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee is responsible for their safety and the safety of others.
Responsibilities- Inspect, breakdown, clean, and stack organic material bins
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and escalate concerns as needed
- Operate hand pallet jacks
- Assist Lead Technician with basic PM tasks and operational activities
- Participate in shift handoff meetings, trainings, and other scheduled meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Must be able to perform essential functions, including frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 50 lbs., and operating equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform repetitive tasks
- Handle changes in temperature, humidity, and wetness on site
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in manufacturing/production or maintenance preferred
- Experience with pressure washers and pallet jacks preferred
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- Willing to work overtime
- $20/hour plus $2/hour night shift differential
