Overview

Infusion Nurse (RN) Plymouth, IN Area at Aperion Care. The Infusion Nurse reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for providing infusions and ensuring care is delivered appropriately and quality standards are adhered to.

• Perform care as defined by the client’s individual Plan of Care and within the scope of the state nurse practice act.
• Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Counsel the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

• Move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Speak and write in the English language.
• Cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Lift/carry up to 25 pounds and push/pull up to 50 feet.
• May assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
