The Role
As a Traveling Superintendent, you will travel to various job sites across the country, living in different locations during each project. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing on-site construction and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and laborers
- Planning, overseeing, and maintaining site safety (OSHA compliant) and organization
- Implementing project documents with subcontractors
- Creating and updating the bi-weekly look-ahead schedule
- Collaborating with clients and property teams to manage the critical path schedule
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in commercial construction
- Experience estimating for retail/shopping centers
- Knowledge of trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc.
- Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, and equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to travel
The salary range is $100,000 to $130,000, based on experience and other factors.
