Data Domain Manager – Rockland Trust Bank
Rockland Trust Bank invites an experienced Data Domain Manager to lead data stewardship and advanced analytics initiatives that transform the Bank’s data stack. The role reports directly to the Director of Data Governance and is central to ensuring accurate, timely reporting of domain and business unit data, fostering data literacy, and enabling AI/ML, automation, and data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of robust data management processes for credit and loan portfolio data using Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Python, dbt, Collibra and other cloud‑based data technologies.
- Act as a data steward, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive reporting strategy for credit and loan portfolios, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and design reports to effectively communicate portfolio performance.
- Develop detailed reports in Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including risk management, finance, and compliance, to understand reporting requirements and deliver insightful analyses.
- Actively contribute to broadening data literacy across the organization and present findings and reports to senior management, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Lead the effort to transfer reporting to new infrastructure and environment as the Bank engages a new enterprise data management strategy.
- Implement quality assurance measures to validate the integrity of credit and loan portfolio data, conducting regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in credit and loan portfolio data management and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Snowflake, dbt, Collibra, Power BI, Microsoft suite, SQL, Python, Alteryx. In‑depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to credit and loan portfolios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
