Main duties of the job

To be a Community Phlebotomy your role is vital in terms of supporting peoples care through by undertaking venepuncture, blood pressure and collecting samples from patients in the communityensuring patients safety and personal safety through adhering to Livewellprotocols, policies, procedures and relevant Health and Safety legislation atall times.

You will be required to be an autonomous practitioner and ateam player. Be responsible for developing your competencies in venepunctureand clinical observations.

You be required to undertake a robust induction, allocateda mentor to support your learning to develop in your role.

We offer training in line with the required competencies for you to build on your knowledge, experience, and skills. You will be expected to undertake continued learning with accessibility to accreditedcourses.

Have the ability to travelacross Plymouth. Reasonable adjustments will be considered as per the Equality Act.

All Livewell Southweststaff are expected to able and willing to work across a 7-day service
