Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• Rotations may occur within the same week

• Rotating weekends and holidays

This is a smaller, slower-paced facility where adaptability is key. While day-to-day workflow is typically manageable, the Respiratory Therapist must be able to respond quickly during triage situations , stabilizing patients and preparing them for transfer to the main hospital in Boston.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care including patient assessment, diagnostic testing, treatment delivery, and ongoing evaluation of therapeutic effectiveness. Accurate documentation and collaboration with the care team are essential.

• Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic testing

• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies

• Evaluate patient response to treatment and adjust care as appropriate

• Draw and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs)

• Respond promptly during triage situations to stabilize patients for transfer

• Maintain accurate departmental and patient care records

• Utilize EMR systems for documentation and communication

• Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Active

• AHA BLS Certification required

• NRP Certification required

• Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs)

• Experience working with EMR systems strongly preferred

• AHA ACLS Certification
