American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of Med Surg Telemetry experience and ACLS certification.

• Float Pool position covering Medical-Surgical Telemetry units as needed
• Will be required to float to like units and overflow areas
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Weekend and holiday shifts expected

• Active MA RN license in hand
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
• Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
• Documented professional development activities and knowledge of critical paths
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season

• Must pass a Dysrhythmia (ECG/Tele) and Medications test via Zoom within 48 hours of offer, administered with only one attempt and no remediation allowed
• Orientation occurs biweekly
• Candidates must provide interview availability and RTO requests at time of consideration
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) of this health system must have a 6-month break before returning to any facility within the system
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this role
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
