American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a float pool position requiring an active MA RN license and at least 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.

• Hospital-based Float Pool position within the Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty
• Floats to all Med/Surg Tele floors as well as like units and overflow areas as needed
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday shifts expected
• 13-week assignment

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
• Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
• Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed (85% passing score, no remediation)
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Documented professional development activities and knowledge of critical paths preferred

• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Must test within 48 hours of offer via Zoom-based proctored exam; study guide provided by facility for preparation
• Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests and interview availability must be submitted at time of consideration
• First-time travelers not considered for this position
