Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU/Pre-Op position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of recent pre-op experience.

• Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• 2+ years of recent pre-op experience required
• Must pass a dysrhythmia/ECG and medication test administered via Zoom during onboarding, with only one attempt allowed and an 85% passing score
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• COVID vaccine plus booster required (medical exemptions only)

• Work in the PACU/Pharmacy unit of a hospital setting
• Pre-Op position caring for pre-operative and post-anesthesia patients
• 10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, four days per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• On-call requirements include one 24-hour weekend shift per month and three night calls per month (11 PM-7 AM)
• 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
• Provide perioperative nursing care in a pre-op/PACU setting
• Biweekly orientation provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break since separation to be eligible
• Time off requests over 4 days will not be approved
• All RTO requests must be submitted for consideration at time of application
