Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician (Finance)

Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting for the Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician role. If you possess relevant experience in this field, you are invited to join our fast-paced and welcoming work environment.

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at a local Walmart facility, you will support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets by applying commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/Type II or Universal)
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/Refrigeration skills and tools
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and associates, and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart safety and environmental guidelines
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights as needed

• Salary range: $56,160 – $106,080
• Sign-on bonus (select locations)
