Quality Technician

Contract Quality Technician role at Plastipak

As a Contract Quality Technician, you ensure customer specifications and our company’s high standards of quality are met throughout our plastic container production operations. You’ll join a team focused on producing the best quality packaging in the industry.

• Conduct quality inspections of in‑process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality
• Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria’s adherence to customer specifications
• Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance
• Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide variety of training & on‑the‑job experiences

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of quality control methods & approaches
• Superior attention to detail
• Ability to walk & stand on production floor throughout work shift with or without a reasonable accommodation
