Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift)
Magna International is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team on the 2nd shift. The role ensures all plant equipment runs safely and efficiently, manages maintenance documentation, and supports continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities- Lead the maintenance/mold maintenance teams and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Provide daily operational guidance and direction to staff on assignments and priorities.
- Attend the daily Production Meeting and support stores keeper in ordering components.
- Complete annual performance reviews and maintain training records.
- Work toward a 95% rating on all PM program items and monitor KPI’s for departments.
- Ensure maintenance area is clean, safe, and follows IATF
16949 procedures. - Assist with first inspections on new equipment and support new installations.
- Promote a positive working environment and resolve rumors.
- Help develop and maintain equipment build standards, EOAT standards, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Support production by resolving equipment/molding issues and provide holiday coverage.
- Secondary School Diploma and a 3‑year Technologist diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a licensed Millwright/Electrician.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance or repair role.
- English language proficiency.
- Strong leadership skills and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Confidentiality, flexible hours, and willingness to work unscheduled overtime.
- Experience with machine shop techniques and manufacturing processes (injection molding, painting, robotics, assembly, water cooling, compressed air, boilers, security, fire protection, refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical controls).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or similar design software, and reading schematic drawings (GD&T).
