Special Needs Nanny

Two kids in Plymouth, MN , need full-time care starting in September. As a private nanny for a high-end household, you will be central to providing organization, sanity, and engagement in their home.

The family has two children. One child is 22mo old and has average needs. The second child is a 5yo old with autism/Asperger's .

The Elite Nanny Team is looking for a highly-educated special needs nanny with experience in developmental delay disorders and autism to manage the children equally. We make it sound serious, but really, the parents want you to have fun with the kids, take them to the park, and continue their education. Therefore, a candidate with experience reinforcing behavior modification methods provided by the occupational therapist is preferred.

Pay: $18 - $22 an hour plus paid vacation and paid holidays.

• Please be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Childcare applicants may have a high school degree, GED, or equivalent .
• Candidates with at least two years of paid experience working professionally with kids are needed.
• You may have ABA therapy experience
• The nanny will need a reliable car and a clean driving record
• Please be open to CPR and First Aid re-certification
• Experience as a teaching assistant, a toddler teacher, or an infant lead teacher in daycare is ideal but not a requirement.
• Candidates with Childhood Development Accreditation (CDA) certification favored.
• Professional babysitters with technical college or university experience are welcome to apply (not required).
• We seek nanny candidates who have majored in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or are licensed to teach K-12 (not required)
