We have significant A/E design contracts for a variety of Federal and State projects throughout the United States. Most of our architectural work specializes in healthcare design, which plays vital role in positively impacting people’s lives and wellbeing on a daily basis.
This position is a full-time, professional architectural role performing architectural design throughout all phases of projects. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with other talented architectural and engineering professionals in a friendly and engaging work environment.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary Roles and
Responsibilities include:
- Works with Project Manager/Sr. Project Architect staff to develop project design documents through all phases design/construction for new construction and renovation projects.
- Responsible for and oversees the completion of Construction Documents
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and follow-through with preparing information regarding design, specifications, materials, and project design.
- Accountable for solutions to problems that maintain the design intent in the scope of work, are code compliant, and demonstrate a full understanding of best construction practices.
- Leads project design coordination with design team, in-house disciplines, engineering consultants & contractors
- Accountable for project budget and schedule alignment with Project Manager
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to identify project requirements and implement them into design documents
- Mentor and directly work with more junior staff.
- Conduct site and facility verification and lead construction administration efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design plans and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Professional license preferred
- Eight+ years of professional design experience.
- Proficiency in documenting architectural design solutions with Autodesk software, including Revit and AutoCAD;
- Working knowledge of graphics applications including Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to apply effective written and oral communication and presentation skills when preparing technical reports and documentation and participating in project team meetings.
