What You'll Do

Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer III, where you will be the process owner for assigned areas, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and produce high-quality products.

  • Process Ownership & Expertise: Serve as the technical expert for assigned processes and equipment, ensuring they are safe, effective, efficient, and produce parts to requirements.
  • Production Support & Problem Solving: Provide high-level engineering support to production. Lead and/or support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and complex problem resolution for products, processes, and equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement & Lean Leadership: Research, design, and develop manufacturing process improvements (production flow, assembly methods, equipment) to boost efficiency, quality, and reduce waste. Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce cycle times and improve flow.
  • Strategic Project Management: Work on major or multiple medium-high complexity projects. Support and/or lead long-range planning for processes, equipment, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Verify new product designs for manufacturability, tooling, and documentation before release to production.
  • Documentation & Standardization: Document and maintain processes, procedures, tools/equipment, and routing standards through engineering change orders (ECOs), ERP (SAP), and internal workflows.
  • Capital & Tooling Investment: Research, recommend, purchase, and install new tooling and equipment into production as needed.
What We're Looking For Required
  • BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, ideally in the assembly of electro‑mechanical products.
  • Experience practicing Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methods.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, including familiarity with problem‑solving tools (root cause analysis, statistics, FMEA, Pareto).
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and troubleshooting complex problems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical information and collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to successfully perform within defined project frameworks.
Bonus Points
  • BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
  • Experience automating manual assembly processes.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) and capability to design assembly fixtures.
  • Experience with injection molding or two‑part resins for shock, thermal, and electrical performance.
