Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) within Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, collaborative, and creative Program Manager 1 who will be supporting technical and program management activities associated with foundry execution and high visibility projects.

A strong understanding of semiconductor technology and microelectronic process engineering is essential.
Job Summary:
The position of Program Manager 1 is planned to report to a functional manager who reports up through the Director of ATL. The position will be a Program Manager leading or co-leading development Programs within the ATL Organization. The primary objective will be delivering all contractual requirements on cost and schedule while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value-creation strategies and actions.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Maintaining both internal and external customer relationships on behalf of the ATL Foundry, in a highly collaborative manner grounded in Northrop Grumman values.
- Leading or participating in cross-functional teams to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
- Reporting program performance to ATL Leadership and internal/external customers.
- Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements.
- Participating in internal Program Management Reviews and other reviews.
- Supporting management plans of resource allocations and plans.
- Preparation of charts and briefings on status/progress and processes; delivering presentations to customers, management, and other Programs stakeholders.
- Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
- Ensuring program teams understand and adhere to contract scope and manage change through ATL’s control board (CCB) activities.
- Development and adherence to master plans (IMS, IMP, etc) and schedules.
- Supporting thorough risk & opportunity (R&O) management practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related STEM field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
- 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry or Academia.
- 1 year of experience delivering to US Government customers.
- Proven skills in building and supporting high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Atlassian Tools.
- Currently Top Secret with SCI clearance.
- US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor engineering.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
