The Opportunity

As a Pavement Engineer, you will work with our Pavement Services group on projects and play a key role in assisting our clients to successfully execute their projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the SME Project Manager in project meetings, design work for site civil projects, interface with clients, and oversee construction phases.
  • Conduct field reviews, assist with data collection, perform site layout and grading using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and develop plans and specifications.
  • Prepare permit applications, perform quantity take-offs, develop cost estimates, and coordinate with project teams.
  • Visit project sites as needed.
  • Communicate test results and issues effectively to contractors, clients, and team members.
  • Use problem-solving skills to resolve construction challenges.
    • Requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage workloads and maintain records.
  • Interpersonal skills to build rapport and provide excellent client service.
  • Adaptability to change and handling interruptions.
  • Basic construction knowledge, including understanding of survey and mapping data.
  • Technical problem-solving ability in the field.
  • Commitment to safety and ethical conduct.
  • Physical ability to perform field activities, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.
