Location: Plymouth, MN
Schedule: Primarily onsite, Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: 1-year contract | Potential for conversion to direct-hire
Pay:Up to $80/hr.
We are seeking a Senior Medical Device Project/Program Manager to lead cross-functional product development activities within a medical device environment. This role will support the development of electrophysiology and cardiovascular technologies, with an initial focus on the Amulet 360 Fixed Curve Delivery System.
Key Responsibilities:- Independently lead cross-functional product development programs from planning through execution.
- Drive project schedules, milestones, deliverables, priorities, and overall execution.
- Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functional teams.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project
. - Monitor project progress and adjust plans based on changing priorities and risks.
- Lead project meetings and keep cross-functional teams aligned toward key milestones.
- Provide weekly/monthly project updates and present status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
- Support project strategy, resource planning, budgets, and broader portfolio discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; technical or engineering background preferred.
- Direct medical device project/program management experience
. - Proven experience leading cross-functional product development teams.
- Advanced MS Project skills and experience managing project schedules.
- Strong risk management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter who can independently drive projects with limited direction.
- Project planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Experience monitoring milestones and adjusting project plans.
- Experience presenting project status and risks to senior leadership or steering committees.
- Experience with in electrophysiology, ablation technology, cardiovascular devices, or related medical device development.
