Position SummaryFrom product concept to production, the Electrical Technician provides technical assistance to engineers by defining and performing tests and analyzing results within our Engineering team.
This position reports to the Technical Manager of the Sensors division.
What You’ll Be Doing- Interpreting electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and other design and assembly documents
- Assembling prototypes and performing product verification and CE/UL compliance testing
- Assisting in conducting performance tests to resolve performance-related issues
- Performing verification tests for functionality and/or quality to ensure product performs to expectations
- Accurately documenting test results and recording all deviations and modifications from the original design
- Troubleshooting sensor failures
- Collaborating with engineers to identify and solve product performance problems
- Generating reports based on findings as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Required:- Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent
- Recent grad to up to 5 years of experience
- Familiarity with soldering
- Experience working with basic hand tools
- Familiar with various types of test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
- Basic personal computer skills, such as Windows, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and with direction
- Prior experience in an Engineering environment
- CE/UL testing
- Software programming using Arduino/Python
