Hardware Test Engineer

• Create and execute hardware verification and validation test plans.
• Develop test procedures and test cases based on product requirements.
• Perform functional testing of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
• Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, gauges, flow meters, and calipers.
• Build and maintain test setups, fixtures, and test tools.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot hardware failures.
• Support root-cause analysis and design improvements.
• Review requirements and ensure complete test coverage and traceability.
• Prepare test reports and other technical documentation.
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Project teams.
• Support compliance and regulatory testing in a controlled environment.
• Participate in design reviews and present test results and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with electromechanical or hardware systems.
• 4+ years of hands-on hardware functional testing experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, automotive, or defense
  .
• Experience creating test procedures from requirements.
• Experience with system- and component-level verification and validation.
• Strong experience with electrical and mechanical laboratory equipment.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment.
