Speech Language Pathologist

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 2025/2026 school year.

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology or valid ASHA certification (CCC‑SLP)
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Teacher Consultant Endorsement
• AI (Autism Impairment) and EMI (Emotional Impairment) endorsements preferred
• Experience working with school‑age children preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Caseload and details of the position/classroom type will differ based on school location.

Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 40 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar.

Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum‑based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

$2,812 - $3,000 per week
