The Sr. Compensation Analyst operates and participates in the design and enhancement of the global and regional compensation programs.
Advises Americas HR Business Partners on compensation topics to support management decision-making.
Supports preparation and execution of annual compensation processes in the region.
Ensures Adient Americas’ compensation practices align with market trends and global compensation policies.
ResponsibilitiesCompensation Expertise:
- Provide support to the regional HR team on compensation-related topics.
- Advise and coach HR team to ensure appropriate job and compensation package assignments, consistent with global compensation guidelines.
- Prepare and support annual compensation processes including salary surveys, salary planning, and bonus administration in the Americas region.
- Analyze and monitor market trends to ensure competitive compensation programs in the region.
- Actively participate in benchmarking surveys to identify Adient’s market position and areas for improvement.
- Engage in ad hoc compensation projects with a global, regional, or country-specific scopes.
Compensation Analytics:
- Provide in-depth analytical services on internal equity, external market positioning, cost of labor, pay trends, salary package recommendations, and salary increase guidelines.
- Ensure accurate recording of employee data in the HR system and conduct audits during quarterly accruals and annual compensation processes.
- Assist with the Executive Compensation benchmarking and analysis.
Compensation Consultancy:
- Provide consultancy to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation actions to ensure alignment with policies and business objectives in the Americas region.
- Manage training activities to build compensation skills and knowledge among the HR groups, managers, and employees.
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in broad-based compensation.
- Ability to thrive in a structured and independent working environment.
- Strong intercultural skills and the ability to work and communicate with an international team.
- Knowledge of general human resources principles.
- Solid technical skills and understanding of the legal, labor, and economic environment of the Americas region.
- Comfortable working towards deadlines and managing shifting priorities.
- Ability to build partnerships with total rewards team members, HR partners, and managers across different countries.
- Demonstrated project management skills and discipline.
- Ability to manage small, complex projects or large non-complex projects.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools.
- Understanding of data relationships in HR and downstream systems.
