The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing functions associated with manufacturing operations, including equipment setup, calibration, maintenance, and quality testing. This role works closely with engineers to support production processes, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The position involves evaluating operating data, conducting adjustments, and assisting in process improvements to optimize yield and reduce cycle time.
Job Responsibilities- Perform manufacturing operations, including setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Work with engineers to develop methods and procedures to control or modify manufacturing processes.
- Conduct experiments and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies, safety regulations, QSR, and ISO standards.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) decisions and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Perform equipment installation, validation, and maintenance (corrective, preventive, and calibration).
- Evaluate operating data and make on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
- Certify manufacturing associates in production processes.
- Evaluate and order necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures.
- May develop or revise documents and procedures as needed.
- High school diploma required.
- 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing or related field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment setup, and calibration.
- Ability to comply with safety and quality standards (QSR, ISO).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and team members.
- High school diploma required.
- 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing operations or similar roles.
