The mission of the Supply Chain Lead is to ensure that the right materials, components, and supplies are in the right place at the right time to keep client programs on schedule. This role owns supplier identification and material implementation into the site's quality and manufacturing systems, and the inventory discipline needed to prevent stockouts or excess without compromising cGMP compliance.

The role also supports supplier qualification.

The position requires strong supplier relationship management skills, working knowledge of GMP material controls, and the ability to balance the competing demands of cost, lead time, and quality across multiple concurrent client programs.

While the ways that you fulfill these responsibilities will likely evolve, your core responsibilities are:

On average, this will represent about 30% of your time. In this aspect of your position, we will expect you to:

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify raw material, component, and packaging suppliers capable of meeting cGMP quality, capacity, and lead-time requirements.
• Lead supplier selection activities, including requests for quotation (RFQs), technical assessments, and site quality audits in coordination with Quality Assurance.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supply agreements to secure favorable terms while maintaining supply continuity.
• Maintain an approved supplier list and support ongoing supplier performance monitoring and periodic requalification.
• Develop dual-sourcing and risk mitigation strategies for critical or single-source materials.

On average, this will represent about 25% of your time. In this aspect of your position, we will expect you to:

• Lead the implementation of new raw materials, components, and packaging items into the site's ERP, specification, and quality systems.
• Coordinate with Quality, Regulatory, and Process Development to ensure new materials are appropriately specified, tested, and released for use.
• Support technology transfer activities by identifying and implementing materials and components required for new client programs.
• Manage material change controls, including supplier or specification changes, to minimize disruption to ongoing production.
• Maintain accurate material master data, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM) records.

On average, this will represent about 30% of your time. In this aspect of your position, we will expect you to:

• Implement and maintain physical inventory infrastructure and management capabilities in the ERP.
• Develop and maintain inventory plans that balance production demand, material lead times, shelf life, and storage capacity.
