- Partner with operators and production leaders to identify the cause of recurring problems and put effective corrections in place.
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of fixtures, tools, and process improvements that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Create and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process layouts, through the established review and approval process.
- Work with Quality and Engineering to investigate non-conformances, document findings, and verify corrective actions.
- Support training when a new or revised process is introduced to production.
- Track open technical issues, communicate status and next steps, and elevate items that require engineering decisions or additional resources.
- Spend time on the production floor observing processes and working directly with the teams who use them.
- Technical degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and BOMs.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and manufacturing tools.
