The role of a Dog Attendant is integral to providing a safe, clean, and enriching environment for our furry guests. As a Dog Attendant, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well‑being and happiness of the dogs in our care. Your responsibilities will include supervising playtime, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with the overall operations of our facility, contributing to a positive experience for both the dogs and their owners.

• Uphold our mission, vision, and core values.
• Ensure opening and closing checklists are completed.
• Maintain a positive and motivated attitude throughout your shift.
• Communicate regularly with Manager or Shift Lead on issues that arise.

• Communicate health concerns with Pet Retreat Manager or Shift Lead.
• Assist in completing baths, nail trims, and all other add‑on services.
• Be aware of dog behavior and body language, intervening if any dogs show signs of distress or aggression.
• Oversee dogs during playtime, ensuring positive interactions and appropriate play behavior.
• Engage with dogs in a friendly and playful manner, providing mental and physical stimulation.
• Create report cards that give a detailed outline of each pet’s day.
• Assist with feeding dogs according to their dietary requirements.
• Be present in the park and monitor all play and interactions between guests and boarding/daycare dogs.
• Assist with dog assessments.
• Walk dogs outside for bathroom breaks.

• Provide the highest level of customer service to our clients and give details of their pet’s day at pick‑up.

• Keep play areas, sleeping areas, and common spaces clean and sanitary.

Example of shifts: 6:45‑2:30 pm, 2:30‑9:30 pm, 5‑9:30 pm, 10‑4 pm. Holidays and some weekend shifts required.
