Job Overview

Manager at Emagine Entertainment leads theater and restaurant crew operations to create a guest‑focused experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and educate guests about concession items, movies, rating systems, and theater directions.
  • Oversee employees in crew operations to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Respond to guest comments and empower staff to maintain high guest satisfaction.
  • Manage day‑to‑day theater operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Lead the closing process, balance drawers, and verify nightly deposits.
  • Deploy scheduling to provide optimal staffing levels for guests.
  • Monitor employee breaks and other restrictions per State Law.
  • Assist in human resource functions: recruitment, selection, orientation, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure security procedures protect employees, guests, and assets.
  • Control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities, minimizing waste.
  • Prepare action plans and implement production, productivity, quality, and customer‑service standards.
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing an annual budget.
  • Collaborate on menu planning with chefs to ensure quality execution.
  • Estimate food costs and profits, adjusting menus accordingly.
  • Enforce safety, sanitary practices, and maintenance to comply with standards and laws.
Qualifications

Education:

Two‑year college or university degree, preferably in Hospitality Management.

Experience:

Two to three years’ management experience in a theater or restaurant environment.

Competencies:

Effective communication, leadership, organizational support, adaptability, business acumen, and quality focus.

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, handling, lifting up to 50 lbs, with moderate noise level. Work hours may exceed 50 hours per week.
