As a Driller at Tri‑State Drilling, you’ll play a critical role in the success of our projects. You will operate drill rigs on assigned sites and lead a skilled crew to ensure safe, efficient, and precise drilling operations. Your attention to detail will help us deliver foundations that meet exact dimensions and project specifications, setting the gold standard in foundations.

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing standard procedures.
• Understand the bid and the contract.
• Coordinate all work according to the schedule.
• Communicate regularly with the general superintendent and project manager.
• Ensure the timely coordination of material deliveries.
• Ensure locates are accomplished.
• Assist the team with duties as needed to support the project.

• Established Driller experience, 3 years or more preferred.
• Age 21+ for out‑of‑state driving.
• Valid Class A CDL license with Tanker endorsement.
• Regular inter‑ and intrastate travel required; per diem and travel expenses paid.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Ability to give clear direction; communicate in a positive manner.
• Ability to navigate rough terrain; work in all weather conditions; lift up to 50 lb.
• Pass company‑paid background and driving‑history screening, DOT‑compliant pre‑employment drug test, and query of the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Good decision‑making skills; operate without supervision and work well within a team.
• Strictly adhere to all safety requirements, not only for yourself but for the team around you.

This role involves hands‑on work at active construction sites, primarily outdoors and exposed to a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind. You will operate in environments with uneven terrain, heavy equipment, and ongoing construction activity. The position requires physical stamina, awareness of surroundings, and the ability to follow safety procedures at all times. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

You should be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, adapting to changing site conditions, and communicating clearly with crew members and supervisors. Flexibility and a strong commitment to safety are essential.
