Overview
Instruct and lead preschool and youth gymnastics programs in an exciting and safe atmosphere. Curriculum is provided for part‑time positions, and training is provided prior to program start dates. Programs run September to May, all day on Saturdays and Wednesday evenings.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize and direct activities for all ages in a recreation setting.
- Provide support as needed for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages.
- Follow staff policies and procedures and ensure all staff and participants adhere to established policies.
- Provide a safe, fun, and appropriate experience for all participants.
Lead, coach, and spot advancing gymnasts with tumbling and gymnastics skills based on age level. For preschool, lead and spot students with basic movement and tumbling skills.
Qualifications- Must be 14 years old by program start date.
- Previous experience with gymnastics or dance experience desired, but training will be provided.
- Previous experience working with youth desired.
