Part-Time Hockey Development Instructor/Coach:
In charge of training hockey players of various ages in on-ice and off-ice settings. This is NOT a team coaching position; focus is on individual player skills and concepts.
If you haven't played or coached at the HS Varsity level or its equivalent, please do not apply.
Whether you're still playing competitive hockey or are a working professional in another industry looking to help develop the next generation, this position offers a great opportunity for those who have played or coached hockey at the HS Varsity level or above to give back and coach players in the MN metro area.
Statement of Job Purposes and Objectives:
Provide high-quality coaching and skill instruction while building relationships with players. You will report directly to the MAP/FHIT instructors and serve as a role model for our members.

Job Duties:
- Assist the lead coach on the ice.
- Provide proper and in-depth feedback and instruction to players.
- Demonstrate drills or skills at an appropriate level.
- Follow the practice plan to ensure each focus area is given sufficient time for practice and mastery.
- Maintain program integrity through high-level coaching and skill development.
- Coach skill development such as speed, strength, skating stride, stick handling, and shooting techniques.
- Assist with on-ice setup and takedown.
- You must currently be able to work in the USA.
