RN, Surgical Assistant, Operating Room Nurse

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Plymouth, New Hampshire.

This is a 13-week contract position.

6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Thursday with on-call responsibilities including 1 weekend/month and 3-4 nights/week.

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will join the Speare Surgical Services Unit, which includes 2 Operating Rooms and 1 Endoscopy Suite. You will be part of a team handling a diverse range of surgeries, including Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Obstetrics/Gynecology, General surgery, and Endoscopy, with an average of 40-50 cases per week.

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room environment.
• Serve as a circulating nurse, supporting various surgical procedures.
• Manage patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality care delivery.

• 2 years of current Operating Room experience.
• Circulating nurse experience is required; scrub experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in surgeries such as Orthopedic, General, Endoscopic, Sports Medicine, Gyn, and C-Sections.
• Experience with total joints is required.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.

• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification.
• Current state nursing license, specifically for New Hampshire.
