Audit Senior

An established firm of Chartered Accountants in Plymouth is on the lookout for a talented Audit Senior to join their expanding team, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse range of clients, from owner-managed businesses through to larger corporate entities. You will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, mentoring junior team members along the way, while benefiting from ongoing technical training and clear pathways to progress towards management level.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
Planning, executing, and completing statutory audits for a varied client portfolio Supervising and reviewing the work of junior audit staff Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the audit process Identifying areas for process improvement and adding value to clients' businesses Reporting audit findings clearly to managers and partners, with recommendations where relevant

Required Skills and Qualifications:

ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist, with solid audit experience Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines Benefits:
