About the job:
The role provides essential day‑to‑day support to the Guards and Drivers teams based at Plymouth and has a wide variety of responsibilities.
Your main responsibilities will be:- be a constant presence in the traincrew depot, responding to queries and requests
- ordering and distribution of kit, uniform and stock
- ensure that diagrams, links, alterations notices and operational notices are correctly posted
- arrange periodic and ad hoc medicals
- raise faults/Form As when necessary
- support local record keeping and processes
- take minutes/notes at meetings, hearings and investigations
- assist with tablet and phone troubleshooting
- audit compliance
- highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload
- detail conscious
- adaptable and flexible in your approach
- able to establish relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
- IT literate
- previous administrative experience
- the ability to maintain confidentiality
- a good level of competence in Microsoft applications
- the ability to cope with interruptions and remain calm, friendly and helpful when under pressure
- experience of minutes/notes taking
