About the Role
My client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join their team. This is a varied role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring information is accurately recorded and administrative processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input, maintain, and update data across internal systems and databases.
- Process documentation and records with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage and prioritise a busy workload, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Provide general administrative support to departments across the business.
- Handle incoming correspondence, including emails, telephone enquiries, and post.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents as required.
- Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper based.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and schedules where required.
- Monitor and resolve administrative queries efficiently and professionally.
- Adapt quickly to changing business needs and shifting priorities.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or data entry role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong data inputting skills with the ability to maintain high levels of precision.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to react positively to changing demands.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience using Xero desirable
