This role provides essential organisational and governance support to senior leaders and Members, ensuring meetings, communication and key processes run smoothly and to a high professional standard. You’ll work in a fast paced environment, anticipating needs, managing complex schedules and supporting the delivery of strategic and democratic functions across the Service.
You will be responsible for:- Coordinating high level meetings including agendas, papers and accurate minutes
- Managing senior leaders’ diaries and arranging travel and logistics
- Supporting democratic processes through preparing and publishing Member papers
- Providing proactive administrative support
We’re looking for someone who brings professionalism, discretion and strong organisational capability to a fast paced environment. You’ll have proven administrative or PA experience and the confidence to support senior leaders while maintaining accuracy, calm and clarity.
You will be:- Organised and proactive and able to anticipate needs and manage competing priorities
- A strong personable communicator, clear and confident when engaging with colleagues and Members
- Detail focused producing accurate minutes, polished documents and reliable administrative outputs
- Professional and discreet handling sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
- Adaptable comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
Required:
Qualifications & Training:
- Minimum of two GCSEs (or equivalent) including grade 4 (c) Maths and English
- Ability to travel independently around Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes and at times further afield
- Proven office / administration experience
- Experience of working within a dynamic and at times demanding environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Personal assistant duties experience
Salary: £30,662 a year
